Be careful not to confuse it with ～いかんだ (depending on), which has a different nuance. Also, be aware that this pattern is not suitable for personal or informal choices, where 'ni kakawarazu' is enough.
～いかんだ (depending on) implies a condition or reason, whereas ～いかんによらず / ～いかんにかかわらず (regardless of) emphasizes the universality of the action or consequence.
